LISBOA: FIRST IMPRESSIONS

After a long morning of work, we managed to wiggle in some Lisbon sight-seeing in the afternoon. What a spectacular city! It’s not what you might call downright beautiful, but it is what you would call unique, with architecture that could not be more hodge-podge, and little houses that look like they are all stacked on top of each other. Another thing I was obsessing over were the incredible doorways! Some tiny, some bright and colourful, some super old and rusty, all one-of-a-kind.

I’m glad you’re having a great time in Lisbon- what an incredible opportunity! The pictures are gorgeous. You’ve convinced me to add Lisbon to my list of places I want to see :)

    Ardena,

I just wanted to tell you how proud I am of you. Your mom has kept me up to date on your adventures and I have enjoyed watching you grow up into a beautiful woman. I know great things lie ahead for you.

    Much love, Rebecca
